What is Semaglutide?

Semaglutide is considered the ultimate weight loss shot.

Who Cannot Take Semaglutide?

• Those that DO NOT have a weight problem.  You must be 30 pounds or more overweight.
• If you are allergic to shellfish.
• Personal or family history of Medullary Thyroid Carninoma (MTC)
• Personal or family history of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia, type 2 (MEN 2)
• Prior allergic reaction to Semaglutide or to any of it's ingredients* (serious allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis and angioedema, have been reported with Semaglutide)
• Diabetic retinopathy (diabetic eye disease)
• Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
• Breast-feeding
• Under the age of 18-years old
• Depression or/and a history of suicidal thoughts
• History of pancreatitis (persistent severe abdominal pain, sometimes radiating to the back with or without vomiting)
• Kidney disease/kidney insufficiency
• Stomach problems (Semaglutide will likely make these problem worse)
• Type 1 Diabetes (must obtain approval for use from endocrinologist or primary care physician)
